Yes, it's not cheap, but SPLAT is sensitive to NIC cards.
l know, l went thorough quite a few, with the intel a clean easy install, and good gigabit performance. The server itself should not care, as long t=as the slots are PCIX.

So I'm considering the Dell 2850s. Anyone have any personal experience? Also, do you know if it will support the Intel Quad GB cards mentioned earlier? SPLAT lists the NICs as supported, but Dell only sells dual GB Intel cards, not the quad. I can buy them somewhere else, just wanted to make sure it's supported.
