Why don't you just reboot the Management machine?
Since you have a distributed environment (obvious because you have a gateway
cluster), rebooting the management server will not cause interruption in the
traffic and that way you can be sure that what ever is keeping an imaginary
session will go down.

l tried to do as l should, but the management
server didn't want to play......There is no
cpadmin command on the server.......
l did a "find / -name cpadmin" with no result. A
look in $FWDIR/bin confirmed it.
l tried the other method of killing the
cp_http_server and cpwmd commands without luck either.
Upon further testing, it doesn't matter what user
ID or password l enter, l always get the same
"Logout: Already connected" message.
Help!
Thanks in advance,
Alan
