Hi,
first of all be sure the program has the executable bit set. Maybe the
system searches in its standard paths only, so go into the directory
where cpinfo is located and type
  ./cpinfo -h
Starting with this sequence will call cpinfo from this directory. The
parameter -h gives a list of options for this command.
