Hi all I need to migrate a Management server R55 to a wintel platform. Currently the management server and fw1 are running on same ip 530 ipso 3.8.
Would that be running Upgrade_export utility on ip 530 first and transfer tar file to network. Then build wintel platform and use upgrade_import on new server. Are there any problem I can counter during this. Is upgrade_export on ipso only backsup only management server or does it also backs up fw1 configuration. How will I remove management server from ipso. I presume it would be voyager and then remove smart centre server from third party software.
