I admit we havent thought the announcement will generate so much traffic...
but I think this discussion is good.
The forums support RSS feeds and email notifications using the "Watch
Forum".
The "Watch Forum" is available now for you, and the RSS will be functional
very soon.
I hope both features answer some of the raised issues.

I am glad to announce Check Point’s new Support web site
(www.checkpoint.com/support).
The new Support site includes an improved user interface and new features.
One of the new features is our Discussion Forums. Like the FW-1 list, the
forums are an environment where customers are open to discuss issues with
other customers.
However, in contrast to the mailing list the forums offer improved user
interface and easy access to information.
I would like to invite you to use the Discussion Forums and will be glad to
meet you there.
For this reason and after several years of operation, the FW-1 mailing list
will be closed in the next days and its content will be placed in the
"Miscellaneous" forum.
I will appreciate any comments and feedback that you may have about the
Support web site, and the forums.
