- run an upgrade_export from the primary.
- shutdown/disconnect the primary

the upgrade_export generates a tar.gz archive that can be exported from
any operating system to any other operating
system.
if you wish, you can even try this scenario with a vmware as
secureplatform runs flawlessly on vmware.
