Try the following:

-cpstop

- edit or create (if still not there) the file $FWDIR/conf/discntd.if,
adding on that file the list of interfaces you don't need to be included in
the cluster, just add their names (as shown in ifconfig), one by line.

-cpstart

-do the same with every firewall module in the cluster.

Hope this helps.

Hi everyone,

I'm running a Cluster Installation (HA) on R65 with Splat. The machines
have 5 Network interfaces, where one of them is part of 2 VLANS.
Now my Problem:
eth4 is allwasy down, because it is not used. It has no IP assigned, and
is not Part of the topology table. Nevertheless, cphaprob states that it
causes a problem.
Second is the VLAN eth0.2.
This gows up and down at will, because the switch, to wich I don't have
access, is poorly configured. So I'd like to "don't care" for eth0.2?
So is there a way to remove eth4 and eth0.2 from causing a failover?
I tried cphaprob -d ethX unregister, but this is not working.
Any suggestions?

regards Markus
