in sysconfig of SPLAT NGx, you will have an option of like "vpn-1 pro", SmartCenter, User authority, Performance Pack, etc...
Since you use P-1 to manage this module, just do not select "SmartCenter". Yes, I work with nokia a lot and it takes me a couple days to get used with SPLAT. But the engine under the hood is the same. It's checkpoint. sysconfig will walk you through the ip address, hostname, dns, gateway, etc...
