I followed the Checkpoint instructions for VPN-1 NGX R65 HFA_02 L2TP Supplement, setup the connection on the iPhone but unfortunately it doesn't work. In Smart-Tracker everything to be ok - no red messages or denies or something like this. The iPhone says "connecting..." and after about 20 seconds I got the error message "The server did not respond. Please verify the server address and try again" I already set the encryption algorithm to AES128 but still no success. I also traced ike.elg and vpnd.elg but I cannot find any obviously error message in there. The platform is Checkpoint NGX R65 HFA50 on Windows Server 2003. Maybe this is the problem? There's no NAT involved - the Checkpoint interface has a public IP. Any more help or hints would be very much appreciated. BTW: Is the HFA_02 L2TP Supplement included in HFA50 or do I have to install it separately?
