Interesting. I have contacted my carrier and checked what they think, and I was 
indeed using an APN with compression. Changed to an APN without compression, 
but still no luck. I am able to establish the VPN connection as with the other 
APN, but as soon as I try to send over traffic nothing happens.

We're using RSA SecurID and OfficeMode, log entries looks identical as when 
using WLAN as opposed to a GPRS connection, but no traffic.
