There is a CP sk on the error 'the converter failed to convert the policy" hich recognize log file corruption as one of the reasons and suggest leaning $FWDIR/log dir. Do a 'cpstop', either delete or move the contents ff $FWDIR/log, 'cpstart'. This should have done right after you got the rror before losing Security and NAT tabs but try them any case even now. ecovering Security and NAT tabs would req additional steps - but it may elp if you rename $FWDIR/conf/applications.* files and $FWDIR/conf/CPMI* iles in 'cpstop' state and then do a 'cpstart' th, ajeev On Fri, Oct 23, 2009 at 8:11 AM, Judie Ayoola <[email protected]>wrote: > Hi I received the following error " the converter failed to convert the policy" when I tried to push out a policy and at the same time the management server hung. after rebooting the management server I issued the the command cpstop and cpstart but when I opened the Policy Editor, I discovered that I was missing the security and NAT translation tabs in the policy editor Has anybody experienced this before?
