Also be aware that the numbers published by Checkpoint are for simple packet forwarding speeds and the simplest of rule sets. So their numbers for low end like the 270 said 400mbs, which sounds good. But turn on any of the rules or features and AV etc... that they sell for it, and I've swamped it with less than 10mbs on a regular basis.
IMHO, they should report both the high end and low end numbers for speed. Like with nothing turned on, which gives you a raw hardware limit and with all the bells turned on inspecting every single bit and byte and what speed it can then provide.
