I migrated a site from Checkpoint to PIX, and found the PIX to be WAY inferior when it comes to ease of configuration.
I was using 6.22 PIX OS and 2.0 PDM, but it is still clunky compared to Checkpoint. I also had performance problems, but they may have not been solely attributable to the PIX. Gimme Checkpoint any day Symon -----Original Message----- From: Chen Shiyuan [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 17 November 2002 11:03 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [FW-1] Nokia IP330 & Checkpoint Firewall Thanks for the details. Will be heading for a reseller soon, but I wanted to find out more information as well as listen to some real life user experiences before listening to sales pitch from the resellers. :) BTW, has anyone here used both Checkpoint & Cisco firewalls (PIX and/or IOS Firewall Feature Set) before? Any comments on how well they fare and compare to each other?
