Johan,

If you are running an unlimited version of the license, the files do
not exist otherwise you should be able to find the files in $FWDIR/database
they are called fwd.h and fwd.hosts. But you could also look at them by
 simply typing fw lichosts.

Talking about good places to look for infos, I'd say look in this mailing
list, some useful infos get posted.

   Take a look on PhoneBoy : http://www.phoneboy.com

Look on the CheckPoint support site, if you have access.

Met vriendelijke groeten - Bien vous - Kind regards

Subject: [FW-1] ip-addresses that connect to FW1

Hi All ...
Ou're security officer has left the building, and i'm replacing him,
without ever taking a close look to this Fire-Wall.
First thing i came accross: it seems that the Fire-Wall is keeping a file
somewhere with all the ip-addresses that connect to this box?
If so, where can i find this file, and what is it's name?
where are running FW-1 on a unix machine.

second:
What are good places on the web to look for information, technotes etc. on
FW-1, i'm subscribed to a course, but this starts next year. In the mean
while, i would like to do some self studing.

Thanks in advance,
sincerly,
Johan.
