Jeffery also mentions (but maybe he didn't) that clarity in source
code maintenance is important, maybe more so than speed as
processor cycles are now cheap and memory vast.
I suppose I am old fashioned, coming from old COBOL and RPG stock
per 1981, but I feel that if you spend more than half your efforts
making something fast that no one else will understand then the
point of applications development was missing.
We simply have "Differing opinions" - we have also went OT :)
