Ummm Kathe, I believe you are confusing the point here. The yo-yo style
adapters are the clear ones that are round and has a slot to wind the cable
into. The adapters at the site you gave were not the yo-yo type. They were
the standard black adapters that came stock on the Wallstreets and other
early (non-firewire) models. They even state on the above link that if
yours proves to be a defective one that they will replace it with a yo-yo
style adapter. I called a friend of mine today who works at Apple in
Cupertino and he assured me that none of the yo-yo style adapters are being
recalled.
