I forget where I read this, but a simple way to compare the value of 
upgrades like this is to divide the speed by the price, highest number is 
"best" value. You will always pay a premium to get the highest speed.

500 MHz / $399 = 1.25 MHz/$
466 MHz / $249 = 1.87 MHz/$
