Yes, Sam, I've been away and didn't see your follow up post to mine. But I also 
installed Toast and it was Toast that didn't recognize the firewire CD/RW until AFTER 
I disabled the USB & Firewire Authoring supports. Toast did not just assume control, 
ast least over these two extensions.
