Thanks for the info, Ryan.  Between you and Jeremy Derr (fellow 'lister), I
managed to get the computers properly networked (TCP/IP via ethernet
crossover). 

A friend and I used our combined forces of nerdliness to battle evil in
Diablo II.  We began playing Saturday evening, passing eight hours in what
seemed like two!  I don't think I'll indulge in that very often -- too hard
on the clicker finger tendons, and non-gaming productivity!
