The LG i think came in the later models of the Powerbook fireware 2000 edition. The models that came with the 10 and 20 gig drives came with the LG model DVD Rom i think - this would be post June 2000 (not sure but i think the LG is slightly faster DVD then the other drive). The replacement drive that was sent to me was a factory refurb of the LG.
