Hi everybody, thought I might put my two cents in on this one. I recently was hired to be the DJ at my high school's junior/senior dance. I asked the juniors and seniors to donate CDs (temporarily of course), and I ripped the songs they wanted onto my Pismo 400. I then upgraded to iTunes v2.0.4 which features crossfading and an equalizer, two features that proved very useful. It went really well at the dance; I just hooked up the Pismo to the sound system and let the playlist go all night. iTunes is sort of primitive for a serious DJ (i.e. you can't have a different crossfade length between different songs; the crossfade setting applies to all songs), nonetheless it worked like a charm.
While I'm at it, I know that this list has already discussed the topic of Powerbooks' rubber feet, but I seem to have lost those messages. Can anybody point me to a suitable replacement set of feet and/or reliable adhesive? My Pismo lost all its rubber feet some time ago, and I sort of miss them. (It slides easily and the bottom's getting all scratched up.) Thanks, Luke McKenzie [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- G-Books is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
