I've never enlisted the power of the lists in this way before, but a
grave injustice has been done against MacSlash, a Mac-related site I and
many others visit daily.

Sometime yesterday, Vicente Peiro Crespo of Valencia, Spain, used Dotster
to wrest control of the slashdot.com domain from Ben Stanfield, the owner
of the domain and one of the people who runs the MacSlash site.

At this point, all attempts to contact Dotster to fix this have been
ignored and the MacSlash site is inaccessible in most of the world. Ben
is working to register macslash.net and/or macslash.org and/or
macslash.info, but even that may take a couple of days to get in place --
and all the existing links to MacSlash around the Web will no longer work.

You can read more about this on Slashdot

96>

You can express your disappointment to Dotster
<http://www.dotster.com/home/> if you can find an email link on their
site.

You can email Vicente Peiro Crespo at <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.

I urge you to read up on the issue and put some pressure on people to get
this resolved.

Thank you.
