I just got online with ATT Broadband, and could not for the life of me, register through the cable modem. I got the "unable to connect" window also. I tried connecting on my rev A I-mac and Pismo with no luck. Tired the TCP/IP control panel along with Apple talk and other confgurations. I finally called a ATT tech out to my house to hook me up. He ended up using his PC laptop to get me up and running. So in summery, call a technician out to your house.
