In a conference on Y2K back in Oct. '99, I listened for a while to the
Win-doze users' worried wranglings about their potential woes, then stood up
and suggested, rather helpfully I thought, "Well, you could always upgrade
from Windows '98 to Mac '89. The few Mac afficiandos in the 100-strong crowd
cheered. The rest, needless to say, didn't.
