I set up my iBook 700 (running 10.2) to play a DVD on my TV. Last time I
mentioned that the movie played on both the LCD and TV.

This time I plugged in the adapter and the iBook registered it as the VGA
adapter. So I told it to detect displays. This corrected the problem, well
kind of).

You might ask, what is the kind of part. Well let me tell you. The TV
wasn't a mirror display like always. My iBook was running in extended
desktop mode!!!!!

I have not been able to recreate this phenomena, but if I do, I'll let you
know.

Any Thoughts, similar experiences?
