As I've always said, the Fujitsu's have been the quietest and most reliable drives we've tested. I wouldn't call our system of testing entirely scientific--it is based purely on returns of dead drives. We've had 3 known Fujitsu 30's die (out of over 1000 in the past year), and about 30 IBM (out of around 500 in the past 1.5yrs)...
