Will it also fix the black screen on my Wallstreet I wonder?

This is a problem that other PB3 owners will recognize. At startup, the
screen goes ALMOST black; you can barely make out your desktop. I had this a
long time ago with OS 9 and I'm blessed if I can remember how I fixed it. I
never had it with OS 10.1, now it's back with 10.2 -- suddenly, today, weeks
after I installed 10.2.

Any ideas?
