I did an upgrade and forgot to click in the custom install button, which is where you can turn off the languages you don't want. On my system (a desktop) this went fine. Since I didn't unselect all the languages it installed them. I ran Monolingual <http://homepage.mac.com/jschrier/> which yanked all the undesired languages, and all was hunky dory. Nothing broke so far as I can tell.
