You mean the Pismo, right? I think the original poster is still thinking
about a Wallstreet, which don't always have a DVD drive. In fact, most of
them don't and you can expect around $150-$200 for a DVD drive with the
decoding card to play DVDs on those Wallstreet. Most likely, the original
poster won't be able to find a Wallstreet with those options even for
$500...

malloc(3) arena in such a way as to cause mysterious failures later on, is
sometimes said to have `done a fandango on core'. On low-end personal
machines without an MMU (or Windows boxes, which have an MMU but use it
incompetently), this can corrupt the OS itself, causing massive lossage.
Other frenetic dances such as the cha-cha or the watusi, may be substituted.
