I have a 400 MHz Pismo with 768 MB OS 10.2.2, it runs well. I usually run with a couple of browsers open, Entourage as my mail client, Photoshop 7, and Adobe GoLive usually open. I don't have any complaints and as long as I'm quick, I can swap batteries without needing to be on AC. My one gripe is that battery life in general is relatively short (2.5 - 3 hours max on 1). Thus I tend to stay tethered to my power adaptor most of the time.
