I have two (actually three if you count the one I replaced with the UDJA 330
CD/RW) Matsushita drives in my Pismo's and have had absolutely no problems
with them playing either CD's or DVD's, but I have friends that have the LG
version and they all have had problems with the drives.

One of my friends got Apple to replace his LG drive under Apple Care and
they send another LG drive as the replacement, so they must not feel it is a
problem with the brand of drive. I just don't understand how so many people
could be having so many problems with this brand drive and Apple doesn't see
it as a issue.
