My new AE base station has a fondness for 1 particular ethernet cable to connect from the modem to the WAN port. It won't work with any of my other 5 cables, and it took me about 6 hours to figure that out (the other cables work fine with other computers and my 10/100 switch).
Even with its favorite cable attached, I'll still get intermittent signal drop-outs, and even then it takes several modem/AE reboots to get the system up and running againing. Any ideas on what I can do about it? Thanks, Stephen -- G-Books is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
