Running fcsk manually (as singleuser) or in disk utility on the older machines will save you a lot of heartache in the future. I would do it on my personal production box (for cwis.biz) if the computer weren't actually sealed away in a cabinet. I run it on lemlists.com via SSH about once a week because that data is far more critical to me (and Dan Knight) and it has a monitor and KB extension cord connected to it! :)
