Please help, I need a part for my G3 Pismo Powerbook (with bronze keyboard).
The right side battery/CD drive bay has a small door (1 1/4 inch by 5/8
inch) to the rear that folds in when the CD drive is inserted. Mine broke,
will pay good money for a replacement (Apple wants to sell me a complete
case!). Maybe other G3's will fit mine?
that part is only available as part of the whole top case. to get just that part, you'd have to scavenge it from another top case, perhaps from someone who has a dead pismo or who always has a CD drive in the bay.
