I just pulled it from the freezer. The last LED is flashing, and now my
Pismo is willing to charge it. I can tell it's charging it because the last
LED is still flashing after maybe 10 minutes now. The only problem is that
OS X expects the battery to be fully charged in less than 10 minutes, which
can't be very good. Anyway, I'll try to give it a shot in an hour or two,
once I'm sure that the system is assuming it is completely charged. Unless
someone has a better idea...

dangling pointer n.: [common] A reference that doesn't actually lead
anywhere (in C and some other languages, a pointer that doesn't actually
point at anything valid). Usually this happens because it formerly pointed
to something that has moved or disappeared. Used as jargon in a
generalization of its techspeak meaning; for example, a local phone number
for a person who has since moved to the other coast is a dangling pointer.
