My internal wallstreet modem is constantly dropping out, plus it connects at slower speeds (48000, or 49333 as opposed to 50000 to 52000) compared to the global village 56k buscard modem I had been using in my previous workhorse, the pb 1400.
I'm considering actually installing the buscard modem in my wallstreet to see if it will behave properly, though I have concerns about its compatibility with OS X (10.2.2)....
Has anyone else seen consistent problems from their apple internal modem? I'm wondering if I might have a bad one. It does connect and stay connected enough for me to say its not "non-functional" but it always drops out at least every half hour or 45 minutes after connecting, so it is a first class nuisance...
