mine (along with thousands more I would imagine) have even slept through the X-ray machines at the airport, 100% safe!

I think at one time that this was actually a MacWorld user tip. They suggested that when going through security, you have your Mac sleeping so that it is quicker to wake up and prove to the security agents that it's fully functional and not an explosive device... (Ignoring, of course, all jokes about 5300s or Wallstreet power supplies.)
