What version of OS X are you running? This is important. I read in a discussion at apple.com about compatibility with 256MB ram in Wallstreets running certain versions of Jaguar. If you have 10.3 or 10.6 you should be fine.
I'm running 10.6 recently from 10.3, and 2 256MB chips, but I'm also running a G4 500 Sonnet upgrade CPU. I put my original 300mhz G3 back in previously with 256MB ram, and it seemed to run fine, though I only used it for a few minutes. Bob __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo!
