Well, OS X is now on the Wallstreet! I took out the new memory I bought from OWC and replaced it with the original 32MB chip that was in the lower slot. Started up the machine and there it was. Installed without a hitch.

But this morning the machine did not want to start up. I had to take out the HD (Travelstar, 30GB) and tap it. After doing that, it started up just fine. So that means I need to find a means to shield it?

Thanks to all of you for your help thus far. Have a Merry Christmas!

Jim Sanderson
