Maybe the best thing to do is to mail Dan Knight directly about this, rather than keep discussing it on the list. As someone who maintains various mailing lists, I know I don't always have the time to read every post on every list. Kyle probably doesn't have any control over how the archives are maintained, and Dan does. Email him with your concerns and I bet they will be addressed sooner rather than later.
