I have posted to this list regarding my Lite-On DVD/CD-R/W model 24081 --clip-- Several months ago somebody recommended a Lite-On LSC 24801
What has happened is the model number was changed by the time I had received my Lite-On combo drive - I have a 24082. The correct model number is 24082. I have seen these still listed as available and still in the $80-90 range. <http://www.pricewatch.com> then search for 24082 ( about six vendors showed up ) <http://www.bananapc.com/Search/default.asp?tmp=&criteria=24082&search_optio n=2> is $87 Hope this helps...
