I want to thank Hector Macedo for forwarding the pictures of his modified
drive to fit a 12.5 mm HD, it gives me some more options to consider.

I am curious of one thing, why is there such a price difference between
drive enclosures? I have seen prices (new, retail) from $15 to $129, and do
not see a quality difference to justify this range. For firewire, I know the
Oxford 911 chipset is a must, but even considering this, there still is a
large gap in prices.

One enclosure that I like above the rest is the clear plastic Mercury On the
Go from OWC, but the price is $90, more than the cost of my 20 GB drive!

Oh well, just thought I pose the question.
