You know, with the prices of MiniDV cameras going down, I think you should also consider whether it makes sense investing on a "DV Bridge" that you might end up paying around $200 while you can have a MiniDV camera that can be used as a "DV bridge" for less than $400. My Sharp can be used as a DV Bridge. In addition, I can also take digital pictures with it. Granted, it is only limited to 640 x 480, but still, its main purpose is to record DV movies.
