I think I agree with you--it probably isn't worth upgrading the Pismo. They tend to sell on eBay for around $500. The Ti 667s go from $900 to $1100 so putting a $300 upgrade into the Pismo takes it up near what the TiBooks run if you get a good price.
I guess the question I'm more curious about is how much the TiBooks improved with the DVI models--they got an additional 1MB level 3 cache, and the VRAM doubled to 32MB. Plus more pixels on the screen. There seems to be about a hundred bucks premium for the DVI 667s. Anyone with experience or knowledge of how the older and newer models stack up?
