While looking for a replacement 14.1 screen, I chose like-for-like (exact part# - not only Apple's , but Samsung's also); all the cables, everything is the same. Avoid problems, unless you live next door to the source. (From my G3 beige experience, double-sided Dimms are read as 256 MB and not 128; yes, but not nec'y in an all-in-one Beige, as I only today found out.) Best George
