Dang! Didn't mean to hit the send button. As I said before, I buy my RAM
from Crucial.

I'm guessing that you'll wind up doing a reinstall of Panther but it is
purely a guess. Is your computer acting up because it has a good Panther
install and the memory is causing problems? Or did the memory problem cause
the Panther install to be defective? Or is it a combination of the two?

Yep, I do love computers - sometimes I need to remind myself of that 5-10
times a day <grin>
