hi all! new to the g-book scene, & was wondering what upgrade options there are for a wallstreet I 233mhz with a 12" screen.
1. can i change out the processor with a 250 or 292 mhz? how about a wallstreet II processor? 233, 266, or 300 mhz? you know, anything with a cache! 2. can i put one of the larger screens on this? there's less vram, so was wondering if that would even be possible. i guess one could upgrade the mobo? 3. how does one take this thing apart? it seems more complex than my girlfriend's pismo, which i worked on with great success (simple stuff, though--changed the cpu & hdd). all these torx screws. what size is it? any warnings? i know very little about ws (long-time 1400/133 user, my first mac, only new mac ever!)... so, if anyone has done anything to convert the "road apple" g-book to something better, please share! thanks mucho. omar -- G-Books is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
