I'm having a problem with NewerTech's PowerBook G3 WallStreet Li-Ion Battery (NWTBAPLLIWS) from OWC. Works great for about 2 weeks (charges, lasts about 3 hours (according to time remaining), takes a charge fine when plugged in (e.g., goes to 100%)) then won't take a charge. I'm on my 2nd one with same results. My 5 1/2 year old original apple battery still charges (but only lasts an hour or so) so I doubt its the WS. Anyone else have this problem? I've reset the PMU twice, no change. I've tried both slots and one battery at a time. No change. OEM charges, new on doesn't.
