No. Netboot requires an OS X Server or equivalent.

Your best bet besides replacing the CD-ROM drive is a FireWire CD-ROM drive.

I've been doing this kind of thing lately trying to install OS X from a master configuration disk. I had a couple of configurations that required some "interesting" lashups.
