Not that I know of but I've never gone looking. Check the docs for it. It should be something noticeable. That is, it's not just a matter of a particular file server it has to have specific support for net booting under OS X.

 No.  Netboot requires an OS X Server or equivalent.

 Your best bet besides replacing the CD-ROM drive is a FireWire CD-ROM
 drive.
